We have been very busy making physical improvements to two very special shelters and instituting programs that help to improve the lives of the women and families that live in them.

Hope Cottage		Tamar House
Hope is an emergency 30 day shelter that provides temporary emergency shelter, food and emotional support to women and their children who are escaping domestic violence and abuse.		Tamar is a 90 day transitional shelter that provides education, counseling, and other services that allow the women and children to resume living on their own.

The Canvas Experience

Our Child Development Specialist, funded 16 hours a week by your contributions to The Gabe Kapler Foundation, recognized the need for these children to learn non-violent ways to express their feelings. And so the “Canvas Experience” was born...
